Is Tripideas Creator Rewards an affiliate program?
Yes. Tripideas Creator Rewards is an affiliate program built specifically for travel creators. Instead of single product links, you share complete trip itineraries that your audience can use, edit, and book - and you earn a share of every booking.
Do I get paid in cash or points?
Everyone earns Tripideas travel points by default - redeemable on your own future bookings. Once you reach Verified Creator (€2,000 in confirmed bookings), you can convert your points balance to cash at an 80% ratio (100 points = €80), paid monthly by bank transfer with a €50 minimum.
How do I become a Verified Creator?
You graduate to Verified Creator after driving €2,000 in confirmed booking volume - typically around 4 completed trips. Verification unlocks cash payouts at an 80% conversion (100 points = €80), dedicated support, and early feature access. Your earning rate (3% or 6%) doesn’t change - it depends on your role on each trip, not your account level.
How long is the attribution window?
There isn’t one. Tripideas uses lifetime attribution. When a follower clicks your link, they’re attributed to you permanently. If they book a year or two later, you still earn the reward.
When are rewards confirmed?
Rewards confirm after your follower completes their trip, not at the moment of booking. This protects the program from cancellations and ensures you only earn on real travel.
What happens if my follower cancels their booking?
Cancellations are adjusted line by line. If they cancel only the experience but keep the hotel, only the experience portion is deducted. If they cancel the whole trip, the reward is canceled.
Can travelers edit my trip after opening my link?
Yes. Travelers can swap hotels, add experiences, remove places, or adapt the itinerary to their dates and budget. You still earn on bookings made from your link, even if the trip is edited. If the traveler creates a new trip based on yours, you will still earn as a creator if you are the original creator.
What if another creator reshares my trip?
The reward is split 50/50 between the original Creator and the Distributor. If you do both — build and share the trip yourself - you earn 100%.
Can I earn from my own bookings?
No. You can’t earn rewards from trips you book yourself, and you can’t share trips with yourself to generate rewards. The program only pays out on bookings from your audience.
